There are two types of time:

QUALITY TIME
(Through Time)

Where you set priorities and discipline yourself to focus on the most valuable use of your time – achieving concrete, measurable results.  Time is sequential and linear and involves sequential information processing.

QUANTITY TIME
(In Time)

Where you allow space for phenomena to unfold and develop –things that cannot be rushed.  Efficiency is not important in quantity time. Being "In Time" involves complex information precessing or simultaneous processing.

To manage time divide your life into two parts:

  1. Work - Through Time
  2. Family & Friends, non work - In Time
  • Organise your life around these two concepts.  Be in each of the two types of time 100 per cent of the time.
  • Outcomes are determined by the amount of time you invest in each – time is the value of yourself in each.
  • Make the organization of your life around – Through Time and In Time your highest goal.
  • Keep your life in balance by engaging and exercising both types of time.
  • Make decisions that have an inordinate impact on the quality and quantity of time managed in your day.
  • Using both concepts of time together has a major impact on your energy and health and wellness.  Managing time really means managing yourself.
